IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Vancouver, B.C. - Frank “BikerFox”
Paul, who became world famous in 2000 when he entered the Guiness
Book of World Records by being the first person to do a front flip
off a bicycle, has signed a two-year contract to ride for Team
nsmb.com
nsmb team manager Cam McRae commented, “We had the opportunity to
meet BikerFox at Interbike a couple of years ago. He’s quite the
character. In Vegas last year, Pete Roggeman [nsmb's marketing
manager] and I hooked up with Foxy again and got to spend an evening
getting to know him better. We saw the synergies between Foxy and
the rest of the Team - especially Jay Sinclair - and thought he
would be an awesome addition to the crew.”
Frank Paul has been riding bikes since he was five and has a
number of long-term sponsors. Signing with the nsmb.com team will
give him additional sponsorship from Adidas, Dakine, Denny’s
Restaurants, Fox Racing Shox, Maguara Brakes, SRAM, Syncros, Wrench
Force Tools and Whistler Bike Park.
Trevor Hansen, the Team nsmb.com captain, was also excited about
the new addition. "The whole team is stoked to have BikerFox on
board. We’re all looking forward to taking him for a ride. Those
front-flip skills will come in handy on trails like Jerry-Rig and
even Boogeyman," he said.

BikerFox is also looking forward to the opportunities he'll
have to introduce his unique talents to the Shore. "I can’t
wait to get into an nsmb jersey," said Fox. "At first I was a
bit skeptical, because I heard how these freeriders are so
hard-core but when I was recently in Vancouver I got to ride
some of the trails on Seymour Mountain and around UBC and had
a super ride."
He added, "My media-savy skills are mad and I’m sure I’ll
be able to help give nsmb exposure in new markets, especially
south of the border.”
BikerFox is moving to B.C. in time to race the first North
Shore Ripper at the end of April, and then he’ll be living in
Whistler for the season. Be sure to look for him at the Ripper
events and in the lift lines at the Whistler Bike Park.
Stay tuned for more details on how this signing will affect
the team spot usually reserved for the AIRprentice contest
winner.
